School Fees are made up of five components – Attendance Dues* ($516.00 Y7-8, $1,016.00 Y9-13), College Contribution ($1,080 Y7; $580 Y8-Y13), Proprietor’s Contribution ($160.00 eldest/only son, $120.00 second/subsequent sons), Special Character Contribution ($60.00), Registration Fees (varies per year level).

The 2024 Fees are as follows:

Year 7                 $1,816.00 per annum

Year 8                 $1,316.00 per annum

Years 9-13         $1,816.00 per annum

Please Note:

• Registration Fees and Subject Fees are in addition to these amounts and payment for these is due by the first day of Term 1, 2024.
• If fees are paid in full prior to the end of Term 1 a Prompt Payment Credit of $100.00 will be allocated to your account. This credit can be used for any additional fees (subject, sports, class trips) throughout the year.
• Payment by instalment is available by contacting the school. The following options are available:
  • Regular payments (set up through the accounts office)
  • Three equal payments by term; due 22 March, 21 June & 13th September 2024.
• Tax donation receipts are emailed at the end of each tax year. A copy of these can be requested at any time.
• All fees must be paid in full by Friday, 15 September 2024.

Attendance Dues

Attendance Dues are a compulsory payment under the terms of the Education and Training Act 2020 and a condition of enrolment at Liston College. Attendance Dues are charged for all students who attend Catholic Schools in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Attendance Dues are used to repay loans for building works done at schools in the Auckland Diocese & property related costs including building works, insurance & the costs directly associated with the administration of attendance dues.

Liston College collects these dues on behalf of the school’s proprietor, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland & forwards them to Auckland Common Fund Ltd, a company established by the proprietors of Catholic integrated schools in the Diocese of Auckland.

Attendance Dues for the 2024 school year:

Years 7-8              $516.00 including GST ($129 per term)

Years 9-13             $1,016.00 including GST ($254 per term)

Attendance dues can be paid in full at the beginning of the school year, per term or by regular instalment.

Special Catholic Character Contributions

The Catholic Special Character contribution is a voluntary donation of $15.00 per term ($60.00 per annum) per student. This contribution provides the main source of funding for all services provided to Liston College by the Catholic Education Services Board. No contributions are made by the Government for these services. The Catholic Education Services Board assists schools to provide a Catholic education for your child through the preservation and enhancement of the Catholic Special Character in our schools.

School Attendance Dues Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available to assist families who may need financial support with the payment of Attendance Dues for preference students attending both primary and secondary Catholic schools in Auckland Diocese. Families facing financial difficulties can contact the school office, their Parish Priest, or Auckland Common Fund Ltd at the Catholic Diocese of Auckland on 09-360-3069 for further information. Application forms for this assistance can be downloaded from the Catholic Diocese of Auckland website.

2024 Sports Fees (all GST inc)           

All students who participate in a School Sports Team are required to pay a fee. This fee MUST be PAID PRIOR to your son competing as part of this team. Any issues with this, please contact the Sport’s Co-ordinator or the Business Manager.

These fees are indications only and are subject to change. 

Liston College Premier Teams also require a Liston College School Blazer. Theses can be hired from the school or purchased at Elizabeth Michael.
