Peace is generosity. It is a right and a duty. Ko te rangimarie ohaoha. Ko te Tikanga me te pononga e kawea

There are 15 teaching days until Senior Assessment Week. The boys should make the completion of their internal assessment requirements a priority in the next few weeks so that they can make the preparations needed for the practice assessments and possible derived grades, if they should need them, a priority.

Please realise that the next several weeks, including the Term 3 holidays, require an increase in effort, which for most is willingness to do some things differently. A change in priority about W.I.N, What’s Important Now?

Students should think differently about what they need to do but they will also, more than ever, need to rely on routines and continue to do the little things well on a daily basis. That includes making time for some rest and relaxation. It’s about planning.

Throughout this term remember the non-negotiables; work hard, be nice, and look after yourself and others and good things will happen.

With NCEA, we have a programme to assist boys who require additional assistance, particularly at Level 2 & 3. If you have any concerns about your son's progress, please contact the school and his teachers will be able to assist you.
