Coming Events
We are delighted to announce that Mike King will be addressing the boys at assembly on Tuesday 22 August and then an evening korero with the Liston community.  There is no cost to attend these events. Full details are to come. An outline of his presentation can be found below.

Our Annual Prefects' Father & Son Breakfast will be held on Saturday 9th September.  Mike Allsop is the guest speaker this year.  A brief bio on Mike can be found below.  Full details will be available next term.

Long Term Absences:  Unless an absence is unavoidable (i.e. sickness, bereavement), it must have the prior approval of the Principal. e.g. planned long term absences, such as trips and short term absences due to family holidays or sports events.

Day to day absences: if a caregiver has not advised the school of an absence either by phone, email or through the College app, a note must be provided on the first day of their return to school.

Liston College App : Go to the App Store on your Apple or Android Device and search Liston College to download the App to your phone or tablet.  There is no cost for this.

Health and Safety Procedures for Boys Unwell at School
Boys who are unwell during the day must see their Dean and then come to the sickbay. If they need to go home, the office ladies will phone parents. Boys must NOT text/phone home themselves.

Aniel Bontogon (Year 10) plays for the Harbour A Beach Volleyball Team.  He has been selected as one of the four members of the U15 Auckland Beach Volleyball Rep team that will compete in the Nationals to be held in Tauranga in July.  Aneil was also chosen as the captain of the team.  Well done Aniel.
