Scripture Quote

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:12,13

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Dear Parents and Caregivers

Last Day of Term

Please note that the students will be dismissed at 12.10pm on Friday 9 December - the last day of term.  Buses will run at their normal time.

Thank You
I would like to thank the many parents and caregivers who have given their time so generously during the year.  I am fortunate to have such a committed and supportive community.  While the boys may not say it, they do appreciate your involvement in the many activities throughout the year. We could not offer the range of extra-curricular activities without your help.  The staff also appreciate your support.

I wish to acknowledge the hard work of the staff throughout the year. I have stated many times that the success of a school requires a strong partnership between home and school.  We have this at Liston College - and I do not take it for granted.  For those staff who are not returning next year, I wish them every success for the future - Tessa Donoghue, Celeste Baker, Keleigh Stanton, Ninon Mascarenhas and Suresh Chandra.

Mr Suresh Chandra
Suresh Chandra retries after being at Liston College for 25 years.  I wish to acknowledge his service and dedication to Liston College over this time as a Science and Physics teacher.  Suresh leaves an enviable legacy and is fondly remembered by many many Old Boys.  I wish Suresh a long and rewarding retirement.

I will give you my final Principal's newsletter in the first week of the holidays.
