Dear Parents / Caregivers

Work Day
The Work Day on Tuesday 16 September, will raise funds to freshen up the gym. Full details of requirements of the day are noted below and have been sent home with your son. School will be closed on this day - 16 September.

Enrolments / Interviews for 2015
We are continuing to process enrolment applications for 2015. If you are intending to enrol your son for next year or you are aware of someone else in this position, please contact my P.A. Deirdre Auger and she will advise you of the next steps in the enrolment process.

Japanese Visitors
We have groups of students from Japanese schools visiting the College. 20 students from Tokyo City University Junior and Senior High School from 4-20 August, 4 students from Nagoya Kokusai High School from 21 July - 29 August and have had 13 students from Higashiyama High School from 31 July - 8 August.

Father & Son Brunch
The 2014 Father & Son Brunch is being organised by the prefects. It will take place at the College on the morning of Saturday 6 September from 10.00am to 12.30pm. This is a good opportunity for fathers, uncles, grandparents to socialise with their sons in a relaxed setting. For the students it is a time to experience positive role modelling in an all-male environment. We are fortunate to have Kevin Biggar speaking on goal setting and achieving beyond your own limitations. Kevin is a co-presenter of the television programme "First Crossings".

Keystone State Boychoir
On Thursday we welcomed 46 boys from the Keystone State Boychoir. They delighted us with their singing at an evening concert, joining with our Liston Choir. We trust the rest of their time in New Zealand and Australia goes well.

Holiday Tutoring Programme
You will shortly be advised of the holiday tutoring programme for the next school holidays. I strongly suggest your son takes advantage of this opportunity to help achieve well in NCEA exams. We are fortunate we have staff who willing give their time to help the boys in this way.

God Bless you and your families.
