The Liston College PTFA (Parents Teachers Friends Association) is a group of dedicated and interested parents, friends and staff associated with the College, who gather together monthly to share fundraising ideas.

The PTFA relies on the support of the Principal, staff members and parents of Liston College to help them with their fundraising efforts.

Each year the PTFA decide, together with the Principal, where the funds raised will be directed within the school. It is the aim of the PTFA that funds raised will benefit the pupils and the long term interest of the school.

One of the most rewarding benefits of belonging to the PTFA is having the chance to work alongside staff, parents and students of the school.

In recent years the PTFA various fundraising activities have included the Annual School Gala, McDonald’s Day, Raffles, Sausage Sizzles, Drinks and Ice-creams, Mid Winter Christmas Dinner, Photography Sittings, Movie Evening, etc.

Funds have been directed to the following areas – Intermediate School Camp; School Leavers Gift/Incentives; School Improvements (shading and seating in the Quads; seating for Gymnasium; curtains for Pavilion, etc.), Theology Tuition Fees; Music and Technology Department; Extra Study Classes; etc.

The PTFA are always keen to welcome new members – we meet monthly on the second Monday of every month in the School Pavilion – please feel free to attend.
